Submitting an adoption form does not guarantee the approval of an adoption. Barks & Tails Rescue reserves the right to deny any application at our discretion to ensure the best placement for the dog.

Donations

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Barks & Tails Rescue relies on donations to fund our life-saving work. All donations are generally non-refundable.

However, if you have made an error in making your donation or if the wrong amount was charged, please contact us within 30 days at contact@barksandtailsrescue.org and we will work with you to correct the issue.

Adoption Fees

Adoption fees are considered non-refundable donations. If a dog must be returned to the rescue within the timeline specified in your adoption contract, the fee will not be refunded but may be kept on file as a tax-deductible donation.
